We only have deployed a few Windows 7 computers in our network among our savvy computer users willing to test the new OS, and we are getting good feedback from them so most likely we will be deploying new computers with Windows 7 from now on. anyways, one of these users was having a strange problem with her wireless connection… Aug 06, 2008 · Very randomly, my sony laptop stopped connecting to my home network. You are connecting with the WIRED network which has the Unidentified Network. Pm the left side of the Network and Sharing Center is Change Adapter Settings. Make sure you are connected to the wireless device, doesn't seem like you are. Irv S.

Feb 20, 2012 · Basic Problem: Unidentified Network on both wired and wireless sides. When I first fired this up, it boots and comes to the desktop, so it does do "something". But there's no connectivity to anywhere because of the now famous favorite: Unidentified Network. Here's a list of the things I've tried to remedy this. Windows Vista will not connect to wrtp54g router (9 outta 10 times). States that it is an "Unidentified Network", and i have no access to the internet, or xbox 360. Jun 07, 2008 · 2011-03-14 – Update: Please make sure to first try the automated fix provided by Microsoft in the knowledge base article (look for the “Fix it” icon). Recently I had issues with Windows Vista where it would get on a network, but would only have local access (i.e. “Access: Local only” in the Network and Sharing Center).
