Windows Server 2008 (not R2) is the server that is having the "issue". If I ping the server using the FQDN from anyplace else on the network it returns the proper IP address of 192.168.10.107 how ever when I ping the FQDN from the same server it returns ::1: If I ping just the server name it returns 192.168.10.107. When I ping from the local host, the ICMP packets arrive on the local LAN interface of the 2nd pfSense box, enter the IPsec tunnel, but none seems to come out at the remote end.
