Comcast residential IP can't ping Comcast Business IP
New comcast business modem, VPN not working : networking New comcast business modem, VPN not working. I could use some help sorting out an issue with Comcast. They just replaced our modem (which was working fine) with a new one (model CGA4131COM). I've copied all of the old settings/forwarded ports and everything works great including remote desktop, except our VPN. Hello - I've had a working gateway-gateway VPN (IPsec) working for several years. The router is Netgear FVS318N. Location 1: Static IP / Netgear router (Business class internet) Modem is configured in bridge mode.
